Specialized Child Anxiety & OCD Online Therapy Parent Support California & Oregon

Providing individualized evidenced-based interventions to help kids and families stop the spiral and courageously take back their lives one step at a time.

Anxiety, Phobias, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in kids can show up in big ways and leave families spiraling. We can’t always prevent our kids from struggling, but we can give them the skills to thrive in the face of life's challenges.

Equip kids with the skills they need to manage life's challenges successfully.

With skill-building through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), we help kids and parents develop a toolbox of evidenced based strategies to face their fears and courageously take back their lives from Anxiety and OCD.

Meet Kat Schoolland, LMFT

Hello! I’m Kat.

Im here to offer a supportive partnership dedicated to empowering your child to overcome the challenges of anxiety and OCD.

In my approach, I blend compassionate care with therapeutic interventions backed by science. This means that every strategy I use is not only heartfelt but also scientifically proven to make a real difference.

As a child therapist my style is down to earth, playful, energetic, and collaborative. I have a knack for connecting with kids and have done so successfully for over two decades. Every child and family I support is unique and thus the skills we work on are tailored to meet your child’s developmental stage and individual needs.

My aim is to nurture each child's growth, boost their confidence, and help them find joy in their unique selves. By focusing on your child's strengths and applying proven techniques, we navigate the path to well-being together, laying down the groundwork for positive, lasting change.

KIND WORDS

“Participating in Kat’s Parent group was one of the best parenting decisions I’ve ever made. Kat created a warm space for parents to discuss their challenges, and the weekly learning was transformative. I view my parenting role completely differently now (especially related to my daughter’s anxiety), and as a result, my daughter is stepping into challenges with growing confidence. I also saw Kat for private coaching, and she was insightful, supportive and provided effective interventions.

Kat is the best kind of clinician - wise, down to earth, unafraid to get into the parenting trenches with her clients, encouraging, funny and resourceful. If you and/or your child is fortunate enough to get a chance to work with Kat, do it!”
