Current Opportunities

  • Licensed Child & Teen Therapist (Portland, Oregon)

    Our group provides empirically-supported Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and SPACE. We are looking for a therapist to work with individuals and families who are struggling with anxiety and/or mood-related challenges.

    The ideal candidate will be a LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, Psy.D., or Ph.D. They will be passionate about working directly with clients, bringing their enthusiasm and collaborative approach to the position. They will have experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as an interest in furthering those skills.

We offer monthly in-office training with professional trainers who are experts in CBT, ACT and topics related to our clients needs. We provide an annual stipend for external continuing education. We offer weekly office hours & team consultation.

    Job Requirements

    Therapists work from our office 4-5 days a week, option for one day tele-health. Must be available a minimum of 5 days a week, for a minimum of 15 client hours per week. Must be available Monday through Friday after school hours. Candidates intending to simultaneously operate or remain employed in another private practice are not eligible.

    Skills and requirements:

    Active license to practice psychotherapy in the State of Oregon, in good standing.

    Experience or training in CBT, DBT, ACT, SPACE, mindfulness-based therapies or Family Systems Therapy.

    Specialized training and experience treating anxiety disorders/and or OCD.

    Familiarity with providing exposure therapy or a willingness to learn.

    Experience working with children and/or teens and families.

    Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.

    Well-organized and detail-oriented.

  • Psychologist | Director Of Testing ( Portland, Oregon)

    This is a contract position with growth opportunity. It offers an exciting hybrid role that blends clinical practice with leadership for a psychologist skilled in standardized psycho-educational and/or neuropsychological testing.

    The ideal candidate will be eager to engage in direct assessment work with children & teens and confident in their leadership abilities in this area. Additionally this role provides a unique opportunity to develop testing systems and protocols. Over time, you’ll have the chance to expand your impact by hiring and supervising a team of assessors. You’ll collaborate closely with our founder and benefit from the support of our experienced and warm provider team, enhancing your professional journey at Raising Brave Kids.

    Job Requirements

    This position requires your work from our NW Portland office a minimum of two days per week, during daytime hours from 8 AM to 2 PM.

    In the first year at Raising Brave Kids, the Director of Testing will engage in both direct clinical work and leadership roles. Initially, you can expect to handle 1 to 3 testing cases per month while also setting up testing protocols, systems, and procedures. Your role will also include participating in marketing and outreach activities and planning for team expansion.

    As the team grows, your focus will shift towards hiring, training, and supervising licensed assessors and pre-licensed post-doctoral fellows. Alongside these responsibilities, you'll continue some direct clinical work. Depending on your preference, we can adjust your clinical caseload and increase compensation to reflect the evolving nature of your role. This balance ensures that you can focus on what you love while leading our team to new heights.

    Skills and requirements:

    Active psychologist licensure in Oregon

    Previous training and supervised experience in conducting psycho-educational and/or neuropsychological testing for children and adolescents.

    Strong preference for candidates with experience conducting assessments independently in university or medical center settings post-licensure.

    Previous experience in a supervisory role, particularly providing supervision around psycho-educational or neuropsychological testing to trainees and/or early career clinicians.

    Excellent communication and leadership skills.

    Ability to develop, implement, and refine testing protocols and systems.

    Capability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

    Commitment to uphold professional standards and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.

  • Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher (Portland, Oregon)

    Join our vibrant team as a dedicated yoga and mindfulness teacher, where your passion for wellness and love for working with children and families can truly shine. In this dynamic role, you'll partner with our licensed clinicians to co-facilitate our Confident Kids classes and enriching group workshops. You will also design and deliver specialized yoga sessions tailored for the population we serve such as child & teen yoga, prenatal yoga, and mommy-baby yoga.
