Erica (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. She brings a warm, authentic approach to therapy, combining humor with evidence-based practices. Erica specializes in supporting adolescents, young adults, and parents managing challenges like ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
With a degree in Child Development from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University, Erica believes in building strong relationships and using science-backed interventions to create positive outcomes in therapy.
Throughout the years, Erica has supported many clients navigate complex systems (school & work), making her a strong force to collaborate with when experiencing the common pitfalls that individuals with neurodiversity and unique mental health needs often encounter in their community.
Part of what brought Erica to the helping field was the desire to bring visibility and support to youth who don’t necessarily “fit inside the box”. As a neuro spicy individual herself, Erica remains steadfast in her mission to empower youth and families to celebrate and embrace the qualities that come with a neurodiverse brain.
In therapy sessions, Erica uses a range of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Family Systems, and Mindfulness practices.
While therapy can sometimes feel tough, Erica’s goal is for clients to leave each session feeling heard, validated, and empowered. Whether they're dealing with everyday struggles or specific challenges, Erica is committed to creating a warm, supportive space where clients can thrive and reach their goals.
On a personal note, Erica holds a special place in her heart for her two English Cream Golden Retrievers, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. She enjoys hiking, traveling, eating delicious food, spending time with loved ones, and considers herself a lifelong adventure seeker.
