Insurance

In-Network Insurance

We are currently in-network with PacificSource Commercial plans in Oregon.
If you carry PacificSource commercial insurance, your sessions may be covered at your in-network rate, which can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost.

Because every plan is different, we encourage you to contact PacificSource directly to confirm your mental health benefits, deductible, and any authorization requirements. If you’re unsure what to ask, our team is happy to help guide you so you feel clear before getting started.

Out-of-Network Benefits

Raising Brave Kids is currently out-of-network with most other insurance carriers. If you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible to receive 60–80% reimbursement of the session fee.

We’re happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement is considered a matter between you and your insurance provider.

HSA & FSA

If you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA), you may be able to use those funds to pay for services.

Out-of-Network Insurance Information

At Raising Brave Kids, we are considered an out-of-network provider. We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider to ask about your "out-of-network" benefits. Here are some helpful questions to ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • If I choose to work with a registered associate who is under supervision from a licensed clinician are services eligible for reimbursement?

  • Is there a deductible I need to meet each year before I can start receiving reimbursement for sessions?

  • What amount will I be reimbursed for the following services?

    • CPT Code 90791 (initial diagnostic evaluation)

    • CPT Code 90834 (follow up child therapy sessions)

    • CPT Code 90846 (family therapy sessions)

    • CPT Code 90853 (group therapy)

  • By asking these questions, you can gain a clear understanding of your out-of-network mental health benefits and how they apply to the services we offer at Raising Brave Kids. We're here to support you every step of the way in accessing the care your child needs.

Understanding Your Rights Under the No Surprises Act

As a result of the 2022 No Surprises Act, it's important for you to know your rights when it comes to understanding healthcare treatment costs. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for medical services.

Here’s how we ensure transparency:

  • Good Faith Estimate: Following your initial appointment with us, your Good Faith Estimate will be uploaded to your client portal. This document outlines the estimated costs of your treatment.

  • Requesting an Estimate: You can request a Good Faith Estimate from our intake coordinator or your provider at any time, whether before you schedule a service or during your ongoing treatment.

  • Disputing Unexpected Bills: If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.

For more detailed information on the Good Faith Estimate and the dispute process, please refer to your Good Faith Estimate document or visit the official CMS website at https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Your understanding and peace of mind regarding treatment costs are important to us. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.
